Hacienda Heights, CA

Hacienda Heights, California, is situated approximately 19 miles southeast of Downtown Los Angeles. The community is bordered by Avocado Heights, the City of Industry, and La Puente to the north; Whittier to the west; Whittier and La Habra to the south; and Rowland Heights to the east. According to the most recent U.S. Census data from 2020, our population is 54,191 residents.  

As stewards of our natural environment, we are committed to preserving the integrity of our hillsides, resulting in a limited number of hilltop residences. Some residents enjoy sweeping views of the valley, while others take in the area's scenic landscapes. For those seeking outdoor recreation and natural beauty, the well-maintained hiking trails that wind through the La Puente Hills provide both exercise and breathtaking vistas. The region is home to a diverse range of tree species and native wildlife, contributing to the area's ecological richness.  

Hacienda Heights is neither overdeveloped nor struggling for a sense of identity, culture, or belief. We are a community with a rich history and a strong heritage, and we take pride in both. Our residents actively explore and uphold their personal beliefs—including those who adhere to a faith and those who do not. No single culture, religious tradition, or landmark defines us; rather, we embody the diversity and pluralism that characterize the United States.
